Pronouns
A pronoun takes the place of noun. The examples below will help understanding pronouns.
Example without pronouns:
John went to London. John visited Tom. John is Tom's friend. John and Tom went to the London Eye and John and Tom took pictures there.
Example with pronouns (pronouns are in bold):
John went to London. He visited his friend Tom. They went to the London Eye and they took pictures there.
The example with pronouns sounds a lot better.
