What is a noun?
A noun names a person, a place, a thing, an idea or a concept (BBC Skillswise, 2016)
Nouns can be singular (one thing) or they can be plural (more than one thing).
Examples of singular nouns are:
car, egg, phone

cars, eggs, phones
